Four Directions Youth Group (FDYG)

The Four Directions Youth Program/Group (F.D.Y.G); as part of the Cultural Connections for Aboriginal Youth Initiative (CCAY) is designed for youth ages 13 to 25 years of age, both Aboriginal and Non-Aboriginal.

The Four Directions Youth Program/Group's (F.D.Y.G) primary goal is to provide the youth with a range of inclusive programs and activities that are locally controlled and designed in conjunction with Aboriginal Youth.  Further to achieving this goal, these programs and services are structured in a manner that will empower Youth to address the challenges they face and determine their own future with a sense of pride in a safe and culturally relevant environment.

The Four Directions Youth Program/Group (F.D.Y.G) is confident that with existing partnerships and with new partnerships yet to be established, these results will meet the overall needs of the youth.  The Four Directions Youth Program/Group (F.D.Y.G) provides accessible, Aboriginal community based, culturally relevant programs and supportive programs and services for Aboriginal, Metis, Inuit and Non-Aboriginal Youth designed to develop their skills and knowledge.
